All three are defensible; not knowing which one it does is not, because that single behaviour determines whether your plan drifts over a year.
Tests three and four: the technician's screen, and getting out
Give the visit to somebody who does not care about the software and watch them complete it on a phone, in a plant room, possibly with gloves on. Then run a full export and open what comes out: assets, intervals, completed visits with their dates and their answers. A product whose export loses the visit history is a product that quietly gets more expensive every year you stay.
